04/2003 - Effective immediately: House Bill 313 in the 2003 Session of the Idaho Legislature amended the Assumed Business Name Act to make assumed business name filings perpetual and change the filing fee to $25.00. The change in the law also removed the requirement that filings be renewed every five (5) years. An ABN filing remains in effect until cancelled by the owner.

ABN filings are processed on a daily basis. You will receive your original filing by return mail in a week to ten days. It will have your filing number in the lower right hand corner. Keep the original for your records.
