The following offices will be on the General Election ballot in 2008.

U.S. President & Vice President

U.S. Senator
seat currently held by Senator Larry Craig

U.S. House of Representatives
seats currently held by Representative Bill Sali and Representative Mike Simpson

Idaho Legislature
all seats in the House (70) and Senate (35)

County offices on the ballot will include County Commissioner District 1 (4 year term), County Commissioner District 2 (2 year term), County Sheriff and County Prosecutor. Other offices and issues (if any) will vary by county. Check with your County Clerk for more specific information.

The filing period has passed for all candidates except independent Presidential candidates and write-in candidates for all other offices.

The deadline for independent candidates for President and Vice President to file nomination petitions is August 24th.

The deadline for a declaration of intent to be filed by write-in candidates is October 21st.
