Changes to the Sunshine Law effective July 01 2008.

An expansion of the definition of executive official to include those who are involved in major policy influencing decisions.

Clarification that developing relationships and promoting goodwill is a lobbying activity.

Extension of the reporting date for interim monthly reports to 15 days after the end of the month.

Expenditures for members of a legislator or executive official's household must also be itemized if they reach or exceed the threshold.

The increase of the threshold for itemizing expenditures from $50 to $75 beginning July 1, 2008 through December 31, 2010. Also, moves the threshold amount to $100 beginning January 1, 2011 and then adjusts it every two years after that based on the consumer price index.
